Description

For details see the next "screenfetch" featured in the next screenshot (in some minutes).

I switched to Manjaro and Xfce; installed it on top of kde5 (so I had not to care about installing dependencies for the KDE stuff that I continue to use).

I like it quite well, xfce is lean - the few memory hogs I am running all originate from KDE - and it does the job with quite some decency. I do not miss a lot (wobbly windows? I love them, but do not miss them enough to use kwin or install compiz; expose overview would be great though) and have some things that kde5 has not (or no longer) like individual backgrounds for each virtual desktop...

This screenshot is kinda "fake busy" or crowded - seeing that SpiderOak nowadays is only my second choice after BitTorrent Sync, Krusader is where I do my file business with and not Dolphin, I almost never fire up an calculator and - you may call me a lackadaisical guy - but I don't care a thing about the local time in Toronto, Timbuktu or Legoland.

I think I wlll get along well with docky; the future will show.

Not on display are 3 xfce panels. They are there when I need them, but are not obtrusive to the view (also docky is normally hidden).

No memory hogs in this case: firefox running 100+ tabs and gimp that has been told by me to get hold of as much memory as suitable.
